Seven-Grain Bran Bread

Best Bread Machine Baking Recipes
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups water
1/4 cup skim milk powder
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon molasses
2 tablespoons shortening
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
1/3 cup bran cereal
1/3 cup 7-grain ceral
1 teaspoon yeast
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon quick cooking rolled oats
Instructions:
1. Measure ingredients into baking pan in the order recommended
by the manufacturer. Insert pan into oven chamber.
2. Select "dough" cycle, press start.
3. When complete, remove dough from pan, punch down, knead into
oval, place in buttered bowl, turn to coat and let rise in a warm
place for 30 - 40 minutes.
4. Brush top with milk, sprinkle with rolled oats. Place in pan
of choice.
5. Bake in a preheated 375 F oven for 35 - 40 minutes or until the
loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
