15 January 2004 - Fudgey-Ohhhhh In and among the cookies I baked for Christmas I did also manage a really delicious batch of gooey, fudgey peppermint brownies. This recipe came from a Canadian Living magazine, I think...from Christmas, 2002, probably. I came across it while looking for cookie recipes and thought it would make the perfect addition to the dessert tray. They did, and they lasted into the new year and even managed to retain their great fudgey taste. They were really simple to bake and smelled absolutely delicious when they were in the oven. It lended such a holiday scent to the whole apartment with the chocolate, vanilla and peppermint all melding together. What more can I say? They were quite perfect. |
